Chrysanthemums, also referred to as 'mums', are the traditional Mother's Day flower in Australia. This variety, also known as creeping daisy, produces white flowers with a bright yellow centre. A gorgeous, eco-friendly gift that grows featuring stunning illustrative artwork that mums of all ages will love. Usually our packets have a brightly coloured top band with a colourful illustration on the Kraft background. We decided to switch things around for this design, instead having a plain Kraft top band and the illustration sitting on colour below. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, all thanks to Daniella Germain our amazing illustrator & designer as usual. Easy to grow from seed and quick to flower, these 'mums' have a spreading habit, grow to around 25cm tall and are great for pots, garden beds and window boxes. Sow directly outside in spring through to autumn, in a weed free and sunny area. Keep the soil moist until the seed starts to germinate. Chrysanthemums are wonderful for bees and butterflies and will self-seed readily, ensuring many years of wonderful blooms. We package our seeds in Australian made recycled paper envelopes, within our beautiful packaging. Our Gifts of Seeds are supplied with a brown kraft envelope for mailing. These are also produced in Australia on 100% recycled paper. Our Flower Presses are hand crafted in Australia then assembled with care in our Sunshine Coast studio. Our Pop Up Pots are made of 100% recycled, non toxic, certified carbon neutral polypropylene. The material and the production itself is 100% made in Australia. The packaging is also produced entirely in Australia on 100% recycled sheet. We believe in the gifting of products which don't end up in landfill.
